This collection of original oil paintings were executed in tonal variation to empahsize a sense of mood and story. I use only high quality oil paints and medium. After drying, each painting is finished with a matte 100% pure damar varnish.

These paintings are from
"The Hundred Portrait Project"
of 5 inch square oil paintings executed between 2011 and 2012; using old family photographs, vintage snapshot finds from thrift stores & flea markets, as well as professional and nonprofessional images as reference.
